Thousands of coal-burning power plants, over 1 billion vehicles, and more pump CO2 into the air every day. Not surprisingly, the level of CO2 in the atmosphere keeps rising. The result: We now see warming and more acidic oceans, dying coral reefs, a melting Arctic, more frequent extreme weather events, and rising sea levels. The signs are everywhere and it's scary.
